Pride Celebrates World Water Day 2012

Pride Garden Products recognizes fresh water is our planet’s most precious resource and established the Pride Charitable Trust in 2005 in order to support nonprofits who are working toward increasing access to clean water. Our AquaSav™ products use our patented liners to save millions of gallons of water each year, and every purchase of an AquaSav™ product helps support water conservancy. In that spirit of innovative environmental stewardship, Pride is excited to celebrate the U.N.’s World Water Day.

On March 22, the world will celebrate World Water Day as a means of focusing attention on the importance of freshwater and advocating for the sustainable management of freshwater resources. This year’s theme is Water and Food Security, emphasizing how water is key to meeting the dietary demands of our growing population.

Pride staff have been making the trip to the Convention Center and meeting so many interested gardeners from our area. It’s been so much fun showing how our AquaSav™ liners can help Flower Show visitors save water and still have beautiful, healthy plants this coming season.
